"Vacation" October, 2001

This is Terry's idea of a vacation.  He had the week off so he ordered a load of gravel for the driveway.  I helped him for about two hours.  Not only was the gravel heavy and dirty, it also had the vague smell of tar.  And then Terry started singing.  Sixteen tons and what do you get?  Another day older and deeper in debt.....  Notice he also got a leaf in his hair.  And at one point, the gravel looked like that sculpture from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.  What a miserable way to spend an afternoon!
